Steel Strips Wheels has informed the bourses that it has bagged another export order from the US truck & trailer aftermarket for its truck steel wheels plant in Chennai.
The order comprises 76,000 truck wheels to be shipped in the next 12 months. The total order value is over $3.5 million. SSWL is in discussions with other large truck & trailer makers in the US and expects to bag more orders in this segment in the months to come, the company added.
The stock of SSWL closed at ₹1,185 on the BSE, down ₹5 or 0.42 per cent from its previous close.
