Promoter Shapoorji Pallonji sells 1.8% stake in Sterling and Wilson Renewable

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy’s promoter Shapoorji Pallonji and Company sold 35 lakh shares or 1.8% equity of the company at a price of Rs 295.25 each, exchange data showed.

The buyers were BNP Paribas Arbitrage Fund, Setu Securities and Sahastraa Advisors. The transactions wre carried out in the block deal window of the exchange in morning trades.

At the end of March 31, 2023 Shapoorji Pallonji held 20.93 per cent stake in the company. The other large promoter entity in the company is Reliance New Energy that holds 40 per cent stake.

Shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable ended nearly 3 per cent lower at Rs 289.15 on the NSE.
