Sun Pharma shot up the BSE to register gains of 4.13 per cent in morning trade on Thursday. At 11.40 am the share was trading at Rs 922.65 as against Rs 886.05 at close yesterday.
Axis Bank was up 2.13 per cent at Rs 558.55. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 546.90.
ONGC flared up 1.74 per cent to trade at Rs 351.45 as against Rs 345.45 at close on Wednesday.
Infosys spurted 1.15 per cent at Rs 2,190 as against Rs 2,165.10 at close yesterday.
Hindustan Unilever made gains of 1.05 per cent to trade at Rs 950.25 as against Rs 940.40 at close overnight.
The markets maintained their uptrend for a third succesive day on fund flows and healthy Q3 numbers posted by the blue-chips. The Sensex notched up gains of over 100 points to breach the 29,000-mark for the first time, while the Nifty gained over 20 points during the morning session to trade above the 8,700-mark.
