Sun Pharma rallied further to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE by the close on Wednesday. At 3.40 pm the share was trading at Rs 1,082.90 as against Rs 1,022.25 at close on Tuesday.
Tata Motors rode up 2.79 per cent at Rs 565.30. This represented a gain of 2.79 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 549.95.
State Bank of India traded up 2.73 per cent at Rs 274.30. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 267.
ICICI Bank moved up 2.60 per cent at Rs 323.50 as against Rs 315.30 at close overnight.
Hindalco Industries gained 2.09 per cent to trade at Rs 131.85. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 129.15.
