Pharma shares Sun Pharma and Lupin were among the top gainers on the BSE on Tuesday morning. At 10.49 am Sun Pharma led the pack on the bourse, quoting at Rs 870.15. This represented a gain of 2.41 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 849.65.
Coal India rose 2 per cent to quote at Rs 416.50 against Rs 408.35 at close yesterday.
Bharti Airtel dialled gains of 1.79 per cent to trade at Rs 420.90. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 413.50.
Hindustan Unilever extended yesterday’s firm trend to trade up 1.68 per cent at Rs 915.20. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 900.05.
Lupin gained 1.42 per cent to trade at Rs 1,858.55 against Rs 1,832.50 at close overnight.
