Shares of Swaraj Engines will remain in focus, as its buyback offer opens on Wednesday. It proposes to buy back 2.94 lakh shares (worth ₹70.73 crore) at ₹2,400 a share. Mahindra & Mahindra and Kirloskar Industries had indicated that they would tender 97,915 shares and 51,254 shares, respectively, in the buyback. The buyback offer would be conducted through the tender route and the company has fixed January 12 as record date for recognising eligible shareholders.
