Tata Communications confirmed the delisting of its American Depository Shares from the New York Stock Exchange effective Friday.
The company, in an exchange filing, said that holders can surrender their American Depository Receipts (ADRs) to Bank of New York Mellon, the depository, before August 13, in exchange for ordinary shares.
After that date, the depositary will sell the ordinary shares against the ADRs that remain outstanding and the ADRs will receive the cash proceeds from this sale.
On Friday, the Tata Communications scrip closed at Rs 193.55 on the BSE, down 1.68 per cent.
