Tata Motors extended its morning gains by the close on the BSE on Friday. It finished the day at Rs 513.50, up 5.18 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 488.20.
ICICI Bank also made further ground to hold gains of 4.09 per cent at Rs 316.95 as against Rs 304.50 at close on Thursday.
Cipla edged down a tad to trade at Rs 653.70, a gain of 4.03 per cent. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 628.40.
Hindalco Industries made rapid strides to trade at Rs 139, up 3.50 per cent on Thursday’s close at Rs 134.30.
HUL spurted up 3.34 per cent at Rs 894.60 as against Rs 865.7 at close overnight. The company reported a 17 per cent rise in net profit during the fourth quarter ended March 31. 2015.
