Auto shares maintained their firm undertone to stay among the top gainers on the BSE late on Thursday.
At 3.30 pm Tata Motors stayed ahead of the pack, edging up further to trade at Rs 483. This was a gain of 2.41 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 471.65.
Vedanta moved up rapidly to hold gains of 2.34 per cent at Rs 196.55. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 192.05.
Hero MotoCorp rallied further to hold gains of 1.73 per cent at Rs 2,650. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 2,605.05.
Infosys made further ground with gains of 1.67 per cent at Rs 2,002. The scrip closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 1,969.05.
ITC edged up further to trade at Rs 321.3, up 1.12 per cent. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 317.75.
