Shares of Tata Motors rose nearly 3 per cent in morning trade on the back of robust sales numbers for November.
At about 10.30 am, Tata Motors shares were trading up 2.7 per cent or Rs 10.80 at Rs 409.95. The stock hit a hit of Rs 410 and a low of Rs 403.45 after opening at Rs 408. On Friday, the stock had closed at Rs 399.15 on the BSE.
Tata Motors has reported 58 per cent growth in commercial and passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market. The commercial vehicles segment witnessed 72 per cent rise in sales. Passenger Vehicles sales saw a growth of 35% led by the strong growth momentum of new generation Tata cars.
Tata Motors said growing demand across segments, introduction of new products and strong customer initiatives have contributed to the higher sales.
