Auto shares Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto were among the top gainers on the BSE on Friday morning, when the markets recovered from the losses of the previous two sessions.
At 11 am the Tata Motors share was trading at Rs 508.55, up 4.17 per cent on its previous close at Rs 488.20.
Cipla perked up 4.13 per cent at Rs 654.35. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 628.40.
Bajaj Auto rode up 3.79 per cent to trade at Rs 2,145.40 as against Rs 2,067 at close overnight.
ICICI Bank was up 3.28 per cent at Rs 314.50 as against Rs 304.50 at close on Thursday.
Tata Power charged up 2.86 per cent to trade at Rs 73.70. The scrip had closed the previous session at Rs 304.50.
