Tata Power Company held steady amid a sell-off in the markets to emerge the top gainer on the BSE by the close on Monday. The share held gains of 1.06 per cent at Rs 71.35 as against Friday’s close at Rs 70.60.
Bajaj Auto trimmed some of its morning gains to quote at Rs 2,217 as against Rs 2,199.35 at close last week. This was a gain of 0.80 per cent.
Axis Bank edged up 0.51 per cent to quote at Rs 551.15 as against Rs 548.35 at close last week.
M&M and TCS were flat with gains of less than 0.1 per cent. M&M was quoting at Rs 1,206.10 as against Rs 1,205.15 at close on Friday.
TCS was trading at Rs 2,574 as against Rs 2,572.35 previously.
