Tata Power was on a firm wicket on Friday morning. At 11.30 am it was the top gainer on the NSE, trading at Rs 71.20, up 1.71 per cent. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 70.
Bajaj Auto rode up 1.34 per cent at Rs 2,243.20 against Rs 2,213.55 at close yesterday.
HDFC built gains of 1.20 per cent to trade at Rs 1,178.30. The share had ended the overnight session at Rs 1,164.30.
Reliance Industries advanced 1.01 per cent at Rs 886.05. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 877.15.
Infosys gained 0.84 per cent to trade at Rs 2,104.50 as against Rs 1,997.65 at close yesterday.
