Tata Steel spiked up over 3 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the BSE on Tuesday morning. At 10.39 am the share was trading at Rs 254.25, up 3.12 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 246.55.
Infosys gained 2.83 per cent to quote at Rs 1,174.15 against Rs 1,141.85 at close yesterday.
State Bank of India was up 2.26 per cent at Rs 285.35. The share had closed Monday’s session at Rs 279.05.
TCS advanced 2.17 per cent at Rs 2,742.90 against Rs 2,684.75.
Vedanta was up 2.14 per cent at Rs 107.50 against Rs 105.25 at close yesterday.
