Tata Steel was the top gainer on the BSE on Wednesday morning. The auto major notched up gains of 3.48 per cent to quote at Rs 208.35 against Rs 201.35 at close yesterday.
Tata Motors advanced 2.89 per cent to quote at Rs 297 against Rs 288.65 at close overnight.
Hindalco Industries spiked up 2.57 per cent to trade at Rs 69.90. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 68.15.
Bharti Airtel dialled up gains of 2.32 per cent to quote at Rs 330.95 against Rs 323.45 at close yesterday.
ITC was also on the uptrend, trading at Rs 327.65. This represented a gain of 2.28 per cent on its previous close at Rs 320.35.
