Tata Steel was the top gainer on the BSE on Saturday morning. The markets are open for the Budget presentation today. At 10.44 am the share was trading at Rs 360.30, up 2.63 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 351.05.
BHEL steamed up 2.12 per cent to quote at Rs 276.60. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 270.85.
GAIL (India) sailed up 1.98 per cent to trade at Rs 415.45. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 407.40.
HDFC built gains of 1.83 per cent to trade at Rs 1,371.80 as against Rs 1,347.10 at close yesterday.
Larsen & Toubro was up 1.80 per cent at Rs 1,790.25 as against Rs 1,758.55 at close on Friday.
