Tata Steel extended its gains on the bourses ahead of the close on Friday.
At 2.45 p.m. it was quoting at Rs 355.50 on the BSE as against Rs 345.70 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 2.83 per cent.
On the NSE too it was trading firm at Rs 355.75, up 2.88 per cent on Thursday’s close of Rs 345.80.
