TCS held firm to stay ahead of the pack in late trading on the BSE on Thursday. At 3 pm it held gains of 2.70 per cent to quote at Rs 2,529.30. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 2,462.85.
Bajaj Auto shed some of its morning gains to quote at Rs 2,061.70. This was a gain of 2.05 per cent on yesterday’s close at Rs 2,020.25.
Coal India made gains of 1.97 per cent to trade at Rs 360 as against Rs 353.05 at close overnight.
ITC was trading at Rs 321.50. this was a gain of 1.16 per cent on Wednesday’s close at Rs 317.8.
Hero MotoCorp trimmed part of its early gains to quote at Rs 2,348.25. This was up 0.96 per cent on its previous close at Rs 2,325.95.
