IT stocks held sway on the BSE on Tuesday. TCS extended its morning gains to quote 4.06 per cent higher at the close. It was trading at ₹2,251.55 as against its previous close of ₹2,163.70.
Wipro rode up 3.71 per cent to trade at ₹589. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹567.95.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 2.34 per cent to trade at ₹2,222.40. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹2,171.55.
Bharti Airtel edged lower by close. It held gains of 0.85 per cent at ₹324.65 as against last week’s close of ₹321.90.
Infosys also lost some of its morning gains by the close. It was trading up 0.76 per cent at ₹3,260.45. The stock had closed Friday’s session at ₹3,235.85. The company today announced Q4 net profit grew 25 per cent to ₹2,992.
