Tech Mahindra held on to its firm morning undertone to stay ahead of the pack on the NSE on Friday. At 3 pm the share was trading at Rs 502.50 against Rs 491.80 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 2.18 per cent.
BHEL steamed up 1.86 per cent to quote at Rs 285.40 against Rs 280.20 at close overnight.
Vedanta was broadly firm in the afternoon session, trading at Rs 146.25. This represented a gain of 1.81 per cent on its previous close at Rs 143.65.
UltraTech Cement held firm to quote at Rs 3,227.55. This represented a gain of 1.65 per cent on last evening’s close at Rs 3,175.05.
M&M rode up 1.52 per cent at Rs 1,296.25 against Rs 1,276.85 on Thursday.
