Tijaria Polypipes closed at Rs 18.10 on the BSE on Friday — its first day of listing, 70 per cent below its issue price of Rs 60.
While the scrip opened 3.33 per cent higher at Rs 62 on the BSE, during the day it lost steam and ended the day at Rs 18.10.
On the NSE, it opened at a premium of 1.67 per cent at Rs 61 and ended the day down by 70.5 per cent at Rs 17.75.
The scrip hit a day's high of Rs 67.80 and a day's low of Rs 16.05 on the BSE. On the NSE, the scrip hit a high of Rs 67.75 and a low of Rs 16.50.
A total of 4.7 crore shares were traded on the BSE, while about six crore shares were traded on the NSE.
The initial public offering (IPO) of Tijaria Polypipes opened on September 27, and got subscribed 1.2 times.
