Universal Cables Limited

The rights issue of Universal Cables will open on September 24 and the last date for receipt of request for split application forms would be October 7. The rights issue will close on October 7. The board had earlier fixed the price at ₹51 a share and the entitlement ratio at 1:2 (one equity share for every two equity shares held on September 18). Shares of Universal Cables closed at ₹50, down 1.8 per cent on the NSE.
