Usher Agro , through its 100 per cent subsidiary - Usher Worldwide FZE and Prime Trading Company, has signed a joint venture agreement with AI Mada Project Management Company and Sohar Food Cluster Company LLC to set up a storage, processing and packaging distribution hub for rice and pulses at the Port of Sohar. The unit will be set up at an estimated cost of $40 million. Alpen Capital has acted as the sole financial advisor of the project. Shares of Usher Agro surged 3.8 per cent at ₹48.10 on the BSE.
