Vedanta was the top gainer on the NSE in the morning session on Friday. At 10.54 am the share was trading at Rs 129.55 against Rs 126.60 at close on Thursday.
ONGC flared up 2.29 per cent to quote at Rs 277.15. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 270.95.
Reliance Industries gained 1.33 per cent to trade at Rs 991.95 versus Rs 978.95 at close overnight.
Tata Motors rode up 1.20 per cent at Rs 387.70 against Rs 383.10 at close yesterday.
M&M drove up 1.20 per cent at Rs 1,414 versus Rs 1,397.25 at close on Thursday.
