ONGC flared up 5.4 per cent at Rs 243.2 against Rs 230.75 at close yesterday.
NTPC steamed up 4.32 per cent at Rs 124.3 against Rs 119.15 at close on Thursday.
Hindalco Industries spiked up 3.91 per cent to quote at Rs 83.75 against Rs 80.60 at close overnight.
Axis Bank traded up 3.26 per cent at Rs 527.7 against Rs 509.10 at close last evening.
