The derivative contracts of December series will expire on Thursday. Year 2017 has been a fabulous one for investors as Nifty hit an all-time high of 10,500 this week from the bottom of 8,000 made around last Christmas.
All eyes will be on foreign institutional investors and domestic investors on their plans for 2018. Nifty has been consistent in writing 10,400 strikes currently, signalling a support zone. Index heavyweights such as RIL, HDFC Bank, ITC and Infosys and Bank Nifty will be in focus.
