What to watch. Will exit polls give fillip to Gujarat PSUs?

Shares of Gujarat-based public sector companies will remain in focus on Friday, as various exit polls have suggested the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party will retain Gujarat. Ahead of the elections, shares of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals, GNFC, GMDC, Gujarat Alkalies, GSPL and Gujarat Gas were under pressure, on talk of a close contest between the opposition Congress and the BJP. Focus will also be on private-listed players such as Adani-group stocks, Arvind and Cadila Healthcare.
