Analysts expect ICICI Bank to report about 15 per cent growth, both in net profit and net interest income, for the quarter ended December 2014. The largest private sector lender in India will announce its numbers on Friday. After the second quarter earnings, Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO of ICICI Bank had said the addition of stressed assets had peaked. So, whether the bank will maintain that guidance or not will be keenly watched.

Key companies such as Tech Mahindra, Bank of Baroda, NTPC, JSW Steel, IFCI, Tata Global Beverages, Siemens, Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company, Adani Enterprises, Sun TV Network, Dabur India, Sundaram Finance, Berger Paints, Thomas Cook, Thermax, Mahindra Lifespace, Vijaya Bank, Jayshree Tea, Aarti Drugs, Whirlpool of India and LG Balakrishnan & Bros will be declaring their Q3 performance on Friday.
RBI allows FII buying in Veritas
The RBI on Thursday said foreign institutional investors and registered foreign portfolio investors could now purchase up to 100 per cent stake in Veritas India. Currently, FIIs do not hold any stake in the BSE-listed company. However, traders should be cautious as the stock trades under the T-group, which means delivery is compulsory. The company had reported a profit of ₹77 lakh for the September quarter.
