What to watch. Wipro board meets for buyback, results

The board of Wipro will meet on Thursday to consider the condensed audited standalone and consolidated financial results of the company under IndAS and IFRS for the quarter ended June 30. The board of directors of the IT major will also consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares. Investors will closely monitor the issue size, buyback price, mode of buyback (open market or through tender route) and intention of promoters, if the proposal gets board nod.
