Maruti Suzuki held firm to close Wednesday’s session at Rs 4,152.15 on the NSE. This represented a gain of 2.51 per cent on yesterday’s close at Rs 4,050.65.
Wipro advanced 2.18 per cent to quote at Rs 577.75 against Rs 565.40 at close last evening.
Tata Motors was also trading firm, notching up gains of 2.16 per cent at Rs 394.30 against Rs 385.95 at close last yesterday.
UltraTech Cement shed some of its morning gains to trade at Rs 3,200.05. This represented a gain of 1.98 per cent Tuesday’s close at Rs 3,138.
TCS was up 1.85 per cent at Rs 2,545.75 against Rs 2,499.50 at close yesterday.
