Wipro led the pack on the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 11.25 am the share was trading up 2.45 per cent at Rs 544.45 as against Rs 531.45 at close on Tuesday.
Axis Bank rode up 2.10 per cent to trade at Rs 546.50. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 535.25.
ICICI Bank, the top gainer in yesterday’s session, extended its firm run to notch up gains of 1.64 per cent at Rs 332 as against Rs 326.65 at close overnight.
GAIL (India) sailed up 1.46 per cent to quote at Rs 364.10 as against Rs 358.85 at close yesterday.
Tata Steel spiked up 1.44 per cent at Rs 376.70. The share had ended Tuesday’s session at Rs 371.35.
