IT scrips Infosys and Wipro were broadly firm on the bourses on Tuesday. At 10.14 am the two stocks were the top gainers on the NSE as well, with Infosys surging 2.18 per cent to quote at Rs 1,128.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,104.65.
Wipro spurted 1.14 per cent to trade at Rs 598.95 against Rs 592.20 at close yesterday.
ITC advanced 0.94 per cent to trade at Rs 317.20 against Rs 314.25 at close overnight.
M&M drove up 0.94 per cent to quote at Rs 1,196.40. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,185.30.
BHEL steamed up 0.72 per cent at Rs 208.65 against Rs 207.15 at close previously.
