The Mumbai-based Sunstar Realty Development Ltd, 14th company to be listed on the SME platform, gained 12.5 per cent on Day 1 of its listing in the Bombay Stock Exchange.
After opening at Rs 21.45, the stock closed at Rs 22.50 on Monday with 2.1 lakh shares changing hands.
The company had completed its public issue on February 25 through which it issued 53.1 lakh shares of Rs 10 each at Rs 20. Kolkata-based Guiness Merchant Bankers was the lead manager for the issue.
Among the companies which were listed on the BSE SME platform include BCB Finance, Monarch Health Services, Max Alert Systems, Sangam Advisors, Jupiter Infomedia, Jointeca Education Solutions, SRG Housing Finance, Comfort Comtrade and Anshu’s Clothing.
