Shares of Varun Shipping will remain in focus, as Wednesday will be the last day for investors to be eligible to gain from the proposed scheme of arrangement. Accordingly, the company will be split into two listed entities Varun Global (ship management and ship investment business) and Varun Resources (shipping business). For every share held in Varun Shipping, one VGL (of ₹1 each) and four VRL shares (of ₹1 each) would be allotted.
