Wipro was the top gainer on the BSE in the morning trade on Friday.
The stock was trading at Rs 481.90 at 11.00 a.m. local time against the previous close of Rs 471.30, a gain of 2.25 per cent. Trading volume in the counter stood at 1,63,488 shares.
The company had reported a 28 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013 on Wednesday.
