Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has launched a critical illness plan for women, which covers eight major illnesses that they are prone to.
The critical illnesses covered are breast cancer, fallopian tube cancer, uterine or cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, vaginal cancer, paralysis, multi trauma and burns, said a company press release.
It is available to women of age 25 years to 55 years and sum insured ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh. The premium ranges from Rs 250 a year to Rs 5,500 depending on the age and sum insured.
