Bhasin named Deputy Chairman of IBA

T.M. Bhasin, Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Bank, has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), effective October 2012. IBA is an apex advisory body of public sector, private sector and foreign banks in India. Bhasin has been associated with IBA since the year 2000 as Honorary Secretary of the Delhi Chapter till 2007. As a member of the Managing Committee of IBA, since 2010, Mr Bhasin has been chairing the committees on financial inclusion and education and vocational loans.
