Karnataka Bank Ltd conducted the ‘foreign exchange business conference 2011' to review the performance of the bank under forex business during 2010-11 and to discuss the plan of action for 2011-12 in Mangalore on Tuesday.
A bank release said here on Wednesday that Mr P. Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director of the bank, who inaugurated the conference, stressed the need for expanding the credit with cautious approach. The bank is aiming the forex business turnover of Rs 12,000 crore for 2011-12, envisaging an increase of around Rs 3,000 crore over the previous year, he said.
