Higher income from operations helped Magma Fincorp post a 29 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 27 crore in the quarter ended September 30 compared to the corresponding year-ago period.
On a sequential basis, however, profits dipped by about 22 per cent from Rs 33 crore during the April-June 2012 quarter.
Income from operations during the quarter ended September 30 increased 57 per cent to Rs 382 crore, from Rs 244 crore during same period last year.
