Muthoot Finance has reported a ₹171 crore net profit in the second quarter of the financial year. The net income for the half year was ₹351 crore.
The total income stood at ₹1,062 crore for Q2 and ₹2,154 crore for the half year. Chairman MG George Muthoot, commenting on the results, said that the worst was over and the company was now back on the growth track.
The company has declared a higher first interim dividend of 40 per cent.
