The Finance Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, is likely to move amendments to the Banking Laws Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The amendments are to be moved after factoring in the recommendations of the Standing Committee on Finance.
One of the key amendments relates to voting rights of shareholders in private and public sector banks.
