State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) is planning to open two more branches in West Bengal, thereby taking its branch network here to 17. The upcoming branches will be at Salt Lake on the Northern fringes; and at Rathtala on the Southern fringes of the city.
The 15th branch of the bank was opened on Saturday (December 27) at Thakurpukur in Behala in the sourthern fringes of the city by its Managing Director, Jyoti Ghosh.According to a release issued by the SBBJ till November this year, the Deposits and Advances of Branches in Kolkata stood at Rs 980.82 crore and Rs 3,239.70 crore, it said.
