Satish Kumar Kalra, Executive Director, Andhra Bank, has been given additional charge as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank.
According to a notification from the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Kalra will hold the charge for a period of three months from the date of issue of the order or till the date of appointment of regular Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
The Chairman and Managing Director position fell vacant after C V Rajendran demitted the office of CMD on April 30, 2015 on superannuation.
Andhra Bank’s scrip was trading at Rs 79, up 0.82 per cent on the BSE.
