Andhra Bank has hiked its base rate from the current 10 per cent to 10.25 per cent. Base rate is the rate below which banks cannot lend.
The benchmark prime lending rate of the bank has been hiked from 14.25 per cent to 14.50 per cent. These revised rates will come into effect from August 19, the bank said in a regulatory filing with the Stock Exchange, Mumbai.
