Andhra Bank’s Mumbai Circle has drawn up a plan to sanction loans to 4,000 first-time borrowers for undertaking small business activities under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana’s Shishu Scheme. V Satyanarayana Murthy, Chief General Manager, said loans up to ₹50,000 per borrower will be given without any collateral security or third-party guarantee. Each borrower will be given a Mudra debit card. Murthy said all branches in the Circle will undertake a drive to identify needy borrowers during the campaign period of September 25 to October 2.
