Bank of Baroda (BOB) has decided to engage better with its customers through the use of social media platforms.
This public sector lender has launched its presence in 'Facebook' and 'Twitter'. In due course, the bank's presence would get extended to other social marketing mediums as well.
BOB's social media presence in 'Facebook' and 'Twitter' was launched by P.S.Jayakumar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the bank.
Social media is becoming an increasingly important mode of communication and influence.
For communicating with the bank's huge tech-savvy customers as well as potential customers, BOB intends to make use of social media platforms to stay connected with them, said a release issued by the bank.
