Bank staffer shot dead ‘accidentally’

A woman employee at IDBI Bank’s Thalassery branch in Kerala’s Kannur district lost her life when a bank security man’s rifle went off accidentally on Thursday morning. Milna Vinod, 25, was hit in the back of her head as the bullet was triggered while the security man, Hareendran, was cleaning his rifle. The bullet ripped through Milna’s head and she fell dead instantaneously. Hareendran, a former Defence staffer, was arrested by the local police.
