BoB trims base rate by 25 bps

Bank of Baroda has reduced its base rate (or the minimum lending rate) by 25 basis points from 10.25 per cent to 10 per cent with effect from May 6. This comes nearly a month after the Reserve Bank of India nudged banks to pare their lending rates. Among the banks that have cut their base rates are State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Bank of India. Our Bureau
