Canara Bank has opened its first e-lounge in the State here. R.K. Dubey, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, inaugurated the facility at the Sasthamangalam branch.
He said the lounge would work on a 24X7 basis with assured security and provide facilities such as ATM; a cash deposit kiosk; self passbook printing kiosk; internet banking; and online trading.
It will also have a coin vending machine soon. K.R. Balachandran, Circle Head and Deputy General Manager, said this was one of the 11 lounges proposed in the State.
S. Ramesh, General Manager, head office, Bangalore, and B. Anand, Chief Manager, Sathamangalam, were present.
