Canfin Homes, the housing finance arm of Canara Bank, reported a 92 per cent growth in profits for the September quarter at ₹35.37 crore on higher advances. Canfin Homes had reported a net profit of ₹18.44 crore in the September quarter last year. Net interest income grew 75 per cent to ₹134.96 crore (₹77.25 crore). Advances for the quarter stood at ₹263.37 crore, up 33 per cent over the corresponding last quarter’s ₹198.45 crore. As on September 30, 2015, its loan book stood at ₹9,302.80 crore (₹7,036.69 crore).
